Trullo Tartaruga

Trullo Tartaruga is a real oasis of peace: a property of about 6,000 sqm in the heart of Puglia, in the Itria Valley. It takes its name from the giant tortoises beyond the fence, together with some beautiful horses.

Trullo Tartaruga is a romantic and welcoming structure equipped with all comforts. Recently renovated respecting the original characteristics of trulli, it has two bedrooms, a kitchen with fireplace, a living room and a bathroom with shower. All furnished with taste and with great attention to detail.

Outside, a beautiful swimming pool (10m x 5m), a barbecue and a shaded area to enjoy a holiday of pure relaxation.

The crystal-clear sea of ​​the Adriatic coast and splendid seaside towns such as Monopoli and Polignano a Mare are only a few kilometres away. The medieval historic centres of Ostuni, Cisternino, Locorotondo, Martina Franca and Alberobello, the capital of the Trulli and UNESCO World Heritage Site, are within easy reach.

Itria Valley is also an ideal destination for lovers of bicycles and nature walks: the Apulian Aqueduct Cycle Path offers the chance to immerse yourself, for a stretch of about 20 km, in a unique landscape made of centuries-old olive trees, vineyards and cultivated fields, dry stone walls, trulli and Masserias.
