Trullo del Colonnello overlooks a breathtaking landscape made of olive groves and Mediterranean scrub that extends as far as the eye can see. Not far away are the medieval historic centres of Locorotondo, Martina Franca, Ceglie Messapica and Alberobello, the capital of the Trulli and UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The crystal-clear sea of ​​the Adriatic coast and splendid seaside towns such as Monopoli and Polignano a Mare are within easy reach as well.

Valle d’Itria is also an ideal destination for lovers of cycling and nature walks: the Apulian Aqueduct Cycle Route offers the opportunity to immerse yourself, for a stretch of about 20 km, in a unique landscape made of centuries-old olive trees, vineyards and cultivated fields, dry stone walls, trulli and farms.
